The Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) has released the upcoming Bollywood film Fraud Saiyaan for release here in Pakistan. The Punjab Film Censor Board (PFCB) and the Sindh Film Censor Board (SFCB) have issued the comedy separate release certificates for release in their respective provinces. According to the distributors, all three boards have passed without cuts.
The Arshad Warsi star will be screened on January 18, 2019 in approximately 90 movie screens across the country. However, three more Indian releases will hit theaters this weekend, including The Accidental President, Why Cheat India and the Punjabi movie Kaka Ji. They are all released the same day as Fraud Saiyaan.
This means that moviegoers will be completely dependent on the revenue of Bollywood films for this period. And of course, the release of a total of four Indian films just means that there will be a lot of competition between the distributor and the cinema owner.
The PFCB issued the clearance certificate after a board meeting with all attending members. According to Films Distributors, Fraud Saiyaan received a Universal Rating Certificate because there were no disturbing dialogues or scenes in the film. Local cinema players will also appreciate the fact that the Pakistani star Sara Loren plays a prominent role opposite Warsi in the film.
Fraud Saiyaan was presented by Prakash Jha, who has produced such films as Raajneeti, GangaaJal, Apaharan and Dil Kya Kare. The film, supported by Sourabh Shrivastava, was bought by the Distribution Club.
The censors believe that the conspiracy of Fraud Saiyaan and his music will contribute to his success in Pakistan. “Fraud Saiyaan will perform very well in cinemas because of his unique storyline. It’s an interesting family movie, and the fact that such a versatile actor as Arshad Warsi plays a major role will make him more popular among viewers, “said a senior representative of the Distributors Club.
He continued, “Warsi plays the role of a competitor who marries six different women so they can take their money. The music of the film, which has been distributed on social media, has attracted the attention of many people, especially the remix of the old school song Chamma Chamma. “
The official further stated that Fraud Saiyaan is a complete masala comedy, and he has no doubt that it will be the best of the other four Bollywood films released this weekend. “You will find that many Indian films are currently in cinemas.
This is not only due to the lack of local publications, but also to the fact that movie owners and distributors must do the best for their business. We always try and promote our own films first and give them priority. We did the same with Gumm, but things did not work out well at the box office. “
